Dr. Pahel is originally from Youngwood, Pennsylvania. He received a B.A. from Catawba College where he was sports editor for the college newspaper, obtained his Master's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Florida.
As owner of Pahel Audiology and Hearing Aid Center, Inc. Carey has served as a consultant for area schools and industries. While serving as a clinician, he has been an adjunct faculty member for local universities and served on various professional committees. He served as past President of the Greensboro Sertoma Club.
Carey is married with three children. He enjoys golf, biking, fishing, boating, and composing music. Carey is also active with his church as well as being involved with his children's activities.
Stephanie Nance has practiced in the field of Audiology for 19 years. She joined our clinic 8 years ago. Stephanie was born and raised in Guilford County, North Carolina. She obtained a Bachelor of Science from Appalachian State University in 1991, and in 1993 received her Master's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In 2010, Stephanie obtained her Doctorate of Audiology. She is married for 20 years and has two very active children; Garrett and Madison. Away from work, Stephanie enjoys gardening, attending sporting events and participating in church activities; particularly youth ministries. Stephanie loves being a part of the Pahel Audiology family and strives to provide optimal care for all of her patients.
Jennifer Young has practiced in the field of audiology for over ten years. She is a native of Washington state. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Radford University, and her Masters of Education in Audiology from James Madison University. She is married and has two children. Jennifer's hobbies include piano, guitar, photography, paper-crafting, running, and reading. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children, and helping out in her church.
